Probability

A probability is the uncertainty or likelihood of whether something may occur. It is usually expressed as a fraction from 0.0 … 1.0 or a percentage from 0% to 100%.
A flipped coin has a 50% probability of coming up heads. Also, statements such as "The water in the pot may get hot," are probabilistic in nature, even if the actual probability is unknown or unstated.
Flying Logic documents can be set up to treat confidence values as probabilities.
